After a little winter break (including four weeks travelling), I jumped back into my favourite role in late August 2019. Eleven couples rounded off the second half of 2019, with the 11th - Madelyne and Jake - becoming the 45th couple I have married.
That's 90 people who can now say
A SPECIAL MESSAGE
As I write this blog, for the last few weeks in NSW, we have been in the midst of terrible bush fires. Fires so severe, many non-affected areas have orange skies and ash showers. Homes and Habitats have been lost. Some wedding venues in the Hunter Valley have had to cancel events, leaving couples scrambling for an alternative.

"where to start... Becky married my fiance Tara and I last week in the watagans pine forest and it was the most MAGICAL ceremony I have ever had the pleasure to witness/be a part of.
Tara and I photograph weddings during our weekends, and we see many great ceremonies... But none like the one Becky delivered for us on our special day. she had us in tears, she made us laugh and helped everyone in the forest feel the love that Tara and I shared.
The only bad thing is that we can only get married once... I think we may need to get divorced and remarry a few times just to relive the experience a few times.

How to describe Becky Married Me? Well, when I think of Becky, who was our celebrant on 30th Nov 2019 at our wedding at The Edwards, the words “charismatic”, “adorable”, “fun”, “engaging”, “warm”, “creative”, “full of laughter”, “extremely good looking”, “wonderful”, and “knows her shit” comes to mind (excuse my French).
When we met Becky, her radiant personality shone through as we talked about cookies, puppies and weddings. She immediately came off as someone that we could trust to produce the most amazing, unique ceremony for our wedding. Throughout the process, Becky was patient and, once again, she knew her shit. We had a few adjustments here and there that had to be made and Becky was 100% present and open with us the entire time.
When the big day came, we were so thrilled with her genuine joy whilst conducting the ceremony. She created the most beautiful ceremony for us, full of love, laughter, and everything in between.
We are so thankful to have had Becky as our celebrant. We can’t imagine anyone else doing the job as spectacularly as she did.
