2018 was my first year working (if we can say "working", because "work" doesn't usually bring so much joy) as a registered marriage celebrant. Monday to Friday, I was working my 9 to 5 for a (let's leave it un-named) government department - which would usually be enough to keep people busy, but I'm a little ADHD and need placed to channel my energy. Starting my "side hustle" as a celebrant was definitely my highlight of 2018 and one of the coolest/most satisfying decisions I have ever made.
Through my website, social media and any other "marketing" I do for Becky Married Me, I try to portray an authentic version of myself, in attempt to attract couples who "flow with my vibe"
And I'm going to be honest... I think my strategy is working perfectly!
Moving into 2019, I set a cap on the amount of ceremonies I will perform. As I want to give each and every one of them my 110% whilst also slaying my day job. So, before we even hit 1 January, I was booked out for 2019.
But before we get too far into 2019, let's take a quick look at all the beautiful couples I had the pleasure of marrying in 2018... The "OGs"
